Josie Barnard’s radio journalism includes her BBC Radio 4 programme Digital Future: the New Underclass, which takes a case study approach to her digital inclusion research.
Josie’s work as a presenter and producer for BBC Radio 4 includes columns for John Peel’s Offspring and Home Truths and, as well as her programme, Digital Future (above), a number of prime-time programmes for BBC Radio on subjects including the history of ‘Motorway 1’. Several of Josie’s programmes have been selected for BBC Radio 4’s Pick of the Week. Her radio presenting and producing work also includes for Channel 4’s Oneword, Lynne Franks’ Viva, and BBC GLR, for which she co-hosted a Morning Show strand with Mariella Frostrup.
